James O. Jackson
Dad and Chief Engineer
He is the founder of JJ Design/Construction LLC and serves as the chief engineer. The company was created over 30 years ago to secure a stronger financial future for his family.
James holds the following certifications and degrees: Certified Architectural Drafter from Atlanta Area Technical, Certified CAD Operator, Certified HVAC Designer, both by Trane Company and Carrier Company, along with numerous other certifications. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Education from Carver College, a Masters of Leadership from Luther Rice University, and an Honorary Doctor of Ministry from Carver College.
Catara Adams
Daughter, Realtor and Project Manager
Catara is a multifaceted businesswoman who utilizes her countless gifts to enhance the probability and operations of JJ Design/Construction LLC.
Serving as Realtor and Project Manager for JJ Design and Construction, she brings subject matter expertise to guide the building and architectural design. Catara liaises with networks and other professionals throughout the industry.
She has earned 4 degrees that include a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation, Master of Education and Human Resources, and Specialist in Educational Leadership.
Jamal Jackson
Project Manager & Estimator
Jamal Jackson is a compassionate businessman who serves as the Project Manager for JJ Design/Construction LLC. He holds a Master's in Project Management from Troy University. His Bachelor of Science in Health Science/ Biology and certification as a Health Education Specialist were obtained at Columbus State University.
Jamal leads the Catastrophic Department as an insurance adjuster at a major insurance company. He can evaluate and is licensed to write estimates for catastrophic events in 48 out of 50 states. His well-rounded knowledge and insight enable him to be a key asset in many ways.
Jason Jackson
Project Manager
Jason is the staff engineer for JJ Design/Construction LLC. His expertise lies in environmental, infrastructure, stormwater management, transportation, and structural projects throughout Atlanta. Jason is presently preparing to take the Engineer in Training (EIT) exam. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State (SPSU), where he studied Civil Engineering Technology (CET). Jason has earned the honor of Ambassador/Engineer of the Year.
Jason followed in his father’s steps working with him each summer and discovering a passion for the engineer/construction field. Realizing what he wanted to do was heavily guided by his father and built his own way in the industry.
